Main concepts

The ARCAD Dashboard solution is intended to manage ARCAD application data so that it can be exploited by data visualization dashboards. The visualization is provided by open-source dashboard applications, and ARCAD Dashboard manages and serves the data to these applications.

The main steps required to set up the ARCAD Dashboard solution are the following:

  1. Define the connections to the data source, where the monitored data is extracted from.

    Data source connectors

  2. Define the connection to the data warehouse, where the data to display is stored.

    Data warehouse connectors

  3. Define the data you want to display and create a data model.

    Data models

  4. Import data from the data source to the data warehouse, in order to display them in the dashboard application (Grafana or Kibana).

Loading data and Scheduling data imports

Your data is ready to be displayed in Grafana or Kibana.
